Bridge Out!

Have heard this joke a few times, and thought it could make a good point for us Christians / Clergy if we think about it...
****************************************
Two men of the cloth, a Catholic Priest & a Episcopal Pastor, were out on a roadside one day hanging a sign which said, "The end is near! Turn yourself around now - before it's too late!" Just as they were tapping it into the ground, a car sped by them, and the driver yelled out, "You leave us alone, you religious nuts!"
After a moment, from around the curve, they heard the sound of screeching tires and then a big splash. After which, the Priest turned to the Pastor as asked, "Do you think the sign should just say, 'Bridge out?'"

Have you ever wondered why people don't listen to us (Christians) anymore? Maybe because they already know what we are going to say... Judgement, condemnation, etc. We might have to change our strategy, not the Message, but the methods...? Try showing them the love of Christ.
Like the old saying goes, "Nobody cares how much you know, until they know how much you care."
